6-22

You have to take advantage of crappy pitchers in hitter’s parks.   Erik Johnson and his 7.66 ERA fits that scenario rather nicely.  Erik Johnson stinks against Lefties, and stinks against righties.  LOAD up with Baltimore bats tonight!   They are all in play, if I had to fade one guy it would actually be Trumbo, he is streaky and has only 1 HR in his last 10 games. (That being said he will probably hit 3 bombs tonight, but you can’t play them all, and fading the coldest hitter makes sense.  I like Kim a lot tonight, he plays well at home and his price is still cheap enough to return serious value.

McCutchen is ICE COLD, he has been for a while.  His price is INSANELY low across the industry, and I can’t NOT play him tonight.  He has great career numbers against Samardzija, and if you can get a couple of hits and maybe a HR at his price tonight, it would be huge.  You have to be ON these guys the night the break out of the slump, not later when their price jumps back up.  GPP’s should absoultley have some McCutchen exposure this evening.

Eduardo Rodriguez has been TERRIBLE since returning this season for The Sox, he has been getting shelled.  Abreu and especially Frazier are really UNDER PRICED tonight, and we might see a back to back JACKS situation in Fenway.   On the other side, I actually like Quintana tonight.  He has really strong career numbers against The Sox, and the Boston bats have really cooled off as of late.  His ownership should be less than 10%, and he could put up really nice numbers at a discounted price.  The Sox are good against Lefties (really good actually), but Quintana still makes an intriguing GPP play tonight

You never know which Trevor Bauer shows up, but if the good one does, he has the most upside tonight.  Tampa Bay strikes out a ton against righties, but also hits a ton of HR’s.  This is a boom or bust play tonight, if Bauer can avoid the long ball and walks, he could hit 8 innings and double-digit K’s.  He is a nice GPP play, but the potential he implodes is enough to make me not play him in 50/50’s.  Archer is a mess, I love Lindor tonight, when he has a monster game, he is the type of player that can vault you into the top 5.

A Detroit stack is appealing against Iwakuma tonight as well.   I love Kinsler, he is expensive, but you should have enough $$ to slide him in a few lineups.  I’ll take the price reduction and Play V-Mart over Miggy tonight as well.  Fulmer might be a popular play tonight, but some storms may fly through Detroit at perfect times to ruin a SP’s night.  The weather plus the Seattle lineup is enough for me to fade Fulmer tonight.

Cole Hamels is overdue for a BIG game, he hasn’t really at one in Arlington yet, but I think tonight is the night.  Vegas has him as a huge favorite, he has great BVP against The Reds, and its time.  If you can scrounge enough value (which really isn’t too tough tonight, a Hamels PLUS Bauer combo has huge upside).  I like Desmond, and Choo against Straily and the dumpster fire Reds’ bullpen.

Speaking of Horseshit SP’s, how about Adam Morgan?  Oh yeah, that dude sucks!  Watch the weather, but a Dozier, Nunez, Suzuki Mini-stack could be a monster.

Urias has gotten better each game so far, The Nats on the road don’t scare me.  I think Urias is the 3rd best pitching option on the board tonight behind Bauer and Cole.   MY 100% I think I’M a psychic GPP play tonight is……………………………..Puig.

6/1/16

Let’s start June off with some HUGE WINS

Ortiz is expensive tonight, but is basically the chalk at 1st base.   He is in Camden tonight against Mike Wright.  Lefties are hitting .354 against Wright this season and Ortiz has 2 home runs in only 5 AB’s vs Wright.  His price is so high that his ownership may be slightly down.

Scherzer is a huge favorite on the board and Grinders has him finishing with the most DFS points tonight.  I personally will be fading him in GPP’s.  In 13 innings vs Philly this season, Scherzer has allowed 12 hits, 4 ER, 2 HRs, and 14 K’s.  These are good numbers, but not worthy of paying top dollar in my opinion.  He is safe, and head to heads or 50/50’s he’s your guy, but I don’t think he will be on the roster of the winning GPP’s tonight.

Me likey Shoemaker as a nice GPP play tonight with big K potential.   He has 23 strikeouts in the past two outings, and has career 0.46 ERA against Detroit in 3 starts.  The Tigers do strike out a lot, and if he can shut down Miggy and V mart, he could be looking at another 10K night, and at his price, that has a huge value.  Detroit’s bats can always catch fire, and Shoemaker could absolutely get shelled, but the potential is there if things go his way tonight

The Yankees stink, but the fear that McCann or Beltran take Sanchez deep tonight is enough for me to stay clear of this one.

I love Ozuna tonight against Niese in Miami.  I also would throw Stanton in if he plays (doubtful)

Lester has a pretty good matchup on paper, I just feel he is overdue for a shelling.

My other BALLSY GPP play tonight is actually Robbie Ray.  Houston strike outs almost 30% against Lefties, and Ray has pitched well OUTSIDE of Arizona this season.  Altuve and a red hot Springer really scare me, but if he can avoid damage from these guys, there are plenty of K’s to be found deeper in this lineup.  If you want Rockies galore, you need to get cute tonight……………….

Archer has been a mess this year, and has some pretty crappy BVP against MY Royals.  Alcides Escobar is all or nothing, but I will take a shot on him tonight leading off.  I’m also gonna ride The Cain/ Morales Train as well.  Tampa kills lefties, Duffy is not a smart play.

The Rockies put up 47 runs last night with 100 Home Runs, they get Lamb tonight.  GROSS.  I went with the lefties last night, I will swith it to the righties tonight.  DJ, Story, Arenado, Raburn, and Garneau  will be my stack.  Remember, The Reds bullpen is the worst in MLB, so ANY Colorado player is a GOOD play tonight.  They are gonna be HUGELY owned, but if they score another 15 PLUS, I’m gonna nut punch myself for fading this game.

I think King Felix is a very safe play tonight along with Scherzer.   Padres don’t scare anyone.

A few Cheaper plays:  Bourn, Revere, Harrison, Buetera and some of the cheaper Arizona bats when lineup is announced.  (If you want to pivot off Ortiz, Goldschmidt is my go to guy tonight.  He’s heating up, and overdue for a multi-homer game)

5/16/16

Tough night with NO ACES on the board.  Good night to cut back on the 50/50’s and go GPP crazy.

Zimmerman should be the top pitching option tonight, but that does not mean he isn’t risky.   The Twins strike out a ton, and have a low BA this season, but can mash home runs.  Sano, Plouffe, Park and Dozier are legit threats to take Zimmerman deep.  IF Zimmerman can avoid the long ball tonight he should be in a good spot to get the win and 7-9 K’s.

I’m liking Adam Conley  against The Phillies.  They aren’t HUGE favorites, but are favored with an over/under at 7.5.  I wasn’t completely sold on him at first, but The Phills have Carlos Ruiz and Tommy Joseph batting in the 4 and 5 hole (Because I just said that they will most likely go back-to-back jacks on Conley).  The Phillies are only slightly more scary than The Braves, but it is slight.

I Like Niese as well tonight at home against The Braves.  On a night with nothing jumping out at me, I’ll take the Vegas approach and ride the biggest favorite on the board.   Every once in a great while, Niese has a monster fantasy night, could be tonight……………….

I don’t like Smyly or Happ's spot tonight, either could get shelled and I am not a believer in Maeda.  He’s going to get blasted one of these nights

I like V mart and Miggy tonight against Berrios.  Salty is my sleeper catcher tonight.  This kid will be awesome someday, but he is far too wild at this point.

I love Yelich against Eickhoff tonight who can’t get lefties out

I love the Pittsburgh bats against Perez at home tonight, especially Polanco and Joyce if you want to save some $$

Saunders and Donaldson OWN Smyly

The Yanks have a rookie going tonight IN Arizona.  Can Goldschmidt actually start performing for the love of Jesus?  If he can’t go 3-4 tonight with at least 1 Home Run, he is dead to me.  I like Segura too

Sneaky Stack of the night is Oakland against Derek Holland.  When Holland is bad, is 100% terrible!  If he’s off tonight, Oakland bats might catch fire.  I like Valencia and Semien

Because pitching is SO cheap tonight, you should have plenty of $$ to stack big bats.  Get McCutchen, Trout, and Polanco in there and cross your fingers.

We have 50/50’s up to $500 and Head to Heads up to $2000.  We always have plenty of guaranteed GPP $$ WITH Overlay.  What are you waiting for??  www.draftdemons.com

5/12/16

For the first night in a LONG time there are a TON of POSSIBLE aces on the mound tonight.  Lets start with the obvious: Kershaw.  Kershaw at home against a Mets team that strikes out at a fair clip is a great situation to be in.  Kershaw has amazing BVP in limited action against them, and Vegas has LAD as a huge favorite with a low Over/Under.  Problem is he is insanely expensive.  His price is so high I think he won’t be the highest owned pitcher tonight.  IF you can find enough hitting value, I think playing Kershaw is the way to go tonight, let everyone else get cute and fade him.  Double digit K’s, the Win, and 8 or 9 innings is quite possible if his stuff is on tonight.

Price or Dallas K?  My answer is BOTH……in separate lineups.  Keuchel’s price is WAY down, and if you ve watched him the past 2 seasons (NOT this season so far), you know that his stuff can be NASTY.  The Sox POUNDED the snot out of Oakland  last series, and Dallas has been not so hot so far, I think the vast majority will be scared to play him tonight.  Have some balls, that’s the only way to win a GPP.  Anchoring head to heads or 50/50’s with Keuchel or Price is a terrible idea, but in a GPP, it makes sense.  Houston strikes out so much, that Price has huge upside as well.  Either of these guys can win you huge $$, or ruin your night this evening.

The only other guys I would consider tonight are Vince Velasquez against a PATHETIC Atlanta lineup (In a good pitchers park), Jimmy Nelson against a strike out prone Padres squad, or Greinke who looks like he is really coming back to form.  (GREAT SNEAKY GPP PLAY)

The Baltimore game could be an absolute SLUG FEST.  Miggy and V-mart will produce tonight, and the stack of the night will be Machado, Jones, Chris Davis, and Trumbo.  Don’t be surprised if 20% of the field has this exact 4 man combo.

I like Beltran and Morales in the NYY game

I would consider stacking the Phillies tonight against Blair.  One of these games their bats will start to heat up, why not tonight?

The Brewers could go HR crazy tonight against Shields.  I like Santana leading off, I’m pissed Villar is batting 9th.   Scooter Gennett returns tonight, but I don’t like playing a guy his first game back in action.  Carter/ Braun/ Lucroy could all go long tonight.  I like Hill as a sneaky play on a night where I hate 2B more than any other.

I like Yasmany Tomas as a contrarian play against Cueto in Arizona tonight.

The Cardinals stack will be highly used tonight.  It’s no secret that Weaver sucks, and the left handed St Louis bats could punish him.  This will be the ONE game I fade.   Gut feeling The Cardinals don’t score as much as everyone predicts.

5/6

Crazy DFS night tonight, lots of options, lots of outcomes.

Watch the weather in San Diego, possible showers from 7:00-9:00 could ruin your night if you are all in on Noah S.  If it goes, and the rain moves, he is the top option tonight with probably the highest ceiling.  I’m fading Bumgarner, Colorado doesn’t strike out enough for me to let my entire lineup ride on him.  I think Greinke is a good play against Atlanta, and his recent struggles and other options tonight might keep his ownership % down.  I have to be all in on Chen against Philly.  Philly is batting .166 against Lefties this season and striking out 33% of the time!!  That is INSANE.  I have to go with him tonight, I have no choice, those numbers are just too good not to play him.  If he goes 8 with 1 ER, and 8 strikeouts I will punch myself in the testicles for not trusting my math and instincts if I don’t get him in there.

Cole Hamels has not looked good this season and a Detroit stack could get the job done tonight.   Miggy has ridiculous numbers against him, and Kinsler and Upton are also in a good spot to produce.

I have to go with the Cinci stack again as well.  They have a cake matchup in a good hitters park and all have been swinging fairly well as of late.  Phillips in the cleanup spot at his current price is a nice play.

Ricky Nolasco gives up BOMBS.  I think Melky, Navarro, Abreu and even Garcia have a good chance of taking him long tonight.

Tajuan Walker has been mint this season, but historically pitches bad on the road and Minute Maid.  Altuve should produce again tonight, and I like Gattis.

Doug Fister is garbage, and I love the Seager/ Cano mini-stack

The Pirates have had some success against Martinez, and I think Pittsburgh bats will be way under owned tonight.  I really like Polanco as a sneaky play

Why should play at www.draftdemons.com?.......................... Because chicks dig winners with $$.  Be the man.

5/5

TOUGH SLATE tonight.  No real chalk, no real aces.

Jacob Degrom is the clear #1 SP tonight against San Diego, big favorite with a very low Over/Under.  Even in this situation, I don’t see an Arrieta like performance tonight.

Adam Conley against Arizona is an interesting play tonight.  Hes coming off  a real nice outing, Diamonbacks are a much better home team than away, and tend to strike out at a decent clip against lefties.  I think Conley is a decent GPP play with a fair amount of upside tonight.

Wade Miley is coming off the best game of his career and pitches against Houston tonight.  The Astros strike out a ton against lefties, and because they scored 14 runs last night, I think people will shy away from Miley tonight keeping his ownership way down.  On a night with not many predicted strikeouts,  you got to get em where you can.   Degrom, Conley, and Miley are my favorite GPP options

I think the stack of the night is Donaldson, Edwin E, and Bautista at home against Holland.  These guys have the most upside and could win you a large GPP, but be warned, when this group gets cold, they have been ICE COLD this season.  None of these guys are “Safe”, but all have serious Home Run potential tonight.

Stanton, Realmuto,  and Ozuna are on a monster TARE, I’m riding it tonight against Lefty Robbie Ray.

EVERYONE is going to be all over the Cinci/Brewers game because 2 terrible pitchers face off.  IF this game ends 3-2, and you fade both teams, you will have a huge head start on 80% of the field tonight.  Weirdly enough both pitchers have really good BVP against each other……….just saying.

Erik Johnson sucks against lefties………BIG PAPI

2nd base is tough tonight if you play Miley and take Altuve out of the equation.  I will roll the dice on Brett Lawrie tonight against Owens.

I would go all GPPs tonight, it’s a weird slate where nothing is really safe and I see nothing I can anchor Head to Heads or 50/50’s with

5/3

I’m not in love with Arrieta tonight.  I just have a bad feeling he has a slightly off game.  I can’t justify paying top $$ for him with his situation tonight.  I am rolling with Harvey at a much discounted price.   I really love anyone going against Atlanta, but Harvey looked like he may have regained his dominant form last outing.  He is in a better spot than Jake, and the price difference is enough to sneak a Trout or Stanton in your lineup.

My low ownership, make-or-break, GPP Pitcher tonight is going to be Nick Tropeano.  Milwaukee strikes out at 28% against righties so far and I don’t think Braun will play tonight.  If you want to stack bats, and pivot off Harvey and Arrieta,  I think Tropeano is the way to go.   Stacking against The Brewers and  Guerra is a brilliant play tonight, and I am 99% positive Tropeano will at least get the W tonight.

A lot of people will be on Sonny Gray tonight , but I watched his last outing against Detroit, It wasn’t pretty.

Matt Moore is a decent play against LAD, and Wacha is in a good spot to succeed as well.

REAL BALLSY and sneaky play is Niese at home against Cubs.  We are talking 2% ownership with the possibility of 7 K’s tonight.

A Rod is on a TARE and in a good spot tonight.  Stacking Orioles against a TERRIBLE Severino could be huge.

I like Josh Donaldson and Tulo tonight to finally get their shit together at home against Perez

I LOVE Realmuto leading off with Stanton cleaning up against Corbin

I Love the Longoria/ Pearce mini-stack against Kazmir

I have a weird feeling that the line isn’t big enough in the CWS and Boston game.  I think Wright finally gets shelled tonight ( Navarro and Austin Jackson)

I like Altuve tonight leading off against a rookie who has zero control.  3 walks and 3 SB’s is fine with me.

I hate taking hitters IN Kansas City, but Chris Young has been SHELLED so far this season.  Give me Harper and Ramos.

4/27/16

Tonight is the complete opposite from last night’s slate, lots of hitting to choose from, very few logical pitching choices.

I am fairly certain at this point that basically the top two choices will be rained out tonight: Arrieta and Gio G.  Even if the game gets played, the weather is so bleak, the chances of getting a shortened outing because of a delay is enough for me to take them right off the board.

Matt Harvey is at home against Cinci and I would assume he will be the highest owned SP tonight due to lack of options.  My problem is, he just hasn’t looked right yet.  His strikeouts are way down and something mechanically isn’t working for him yet, I don’t blame anyone for playing him, I just don’t see that 9 K game yet which would justify his price tag tonight.

Sonny Gray and Iwakuma are the best options tonight in my opinion, and should both perform efficiently enough for you to make some $$.  Gray is facing a Detroit team who has not only been striking out against Righties at an alarming clip, but just can’t hit in general as well.  Verlander may get ROCKED by Oakland’s Lefties, so a win is definitely possible.  Iwakuma has GREAT numbers versus Houston, they strikeout more than any other team in MLB, Houston is slumping, and Iwakuma pitches better at home.  No matter how hard I dig, Gray and Iwakuma keep equaling the best plays tonight

If you want to get REAL Ballsy, I mean drunkin Vegas, cocaine , strippers, making it rain on  the Craps table BALLSY, NOBODY will be on Martin Perez tonight.  If you want a huge Pittsburgh stack, you need a low $$ SP to fit everyone in.  The Yanks stink vs Lefties, and when the SLUMP, they SLUMP collectively as a team.  Hail Mary, HUGE GPP contrarian play, roll with MARTIN PEREZ.  If he can sneak out a win, 1 or 2 ER, and 7 ks, that could be HUGE

There are SOOOO many SP’s to pick on tonight, you can stack a shitload of teams.

Lefties vs Bud Norris (especially Travis Shaw)

Legit the ENTIRE Mets squad versus Mascot (Conforto, Duda, Asdrubal)

Every player from both teams in The Colorado game (Favorites : Reynolds, Arenado, Marte, Polanco, McCutchen)

I like Segura and Yasmany Tomas against an as of late TERRIBLE Wainwright

I LOVE DIAZ and Hazelbaker against Corbin tonight

I like Cruz and Cano against a struggling McHugh in Seattle tonight

I LOVE Stanton tonight against Kazmir, LA is Stanton’s new Coors Field apparently

The Dodgers have a CAKE matchup, but I just don’t trust ANY hitters on this team.  Gun to my head, I’ll throw a Puig in a lineup.

4/21/16

I don’t think tonight is the night to get cute with SP.  Arrieta looks like he has some weather to deal with , and that coupled with the fact that he is the most expensive guy on the board, I won’t be paying up for him.  I think G Cole is the best option on the board against The Padres, and Dallas Keuchel is a close second,  pitching against a Texas team that historically strikes out a lot against lefties.  Cole is the safer option of the two.   Edinson Volquez might be a popular play tonight but his BVP against Detroit is TERRIBLE!!  No thanks.  My sneaky play is actually James Shields, I don’t think he will be highly owned, and could strike out 6-8 guys tonight, and with no true STUD going in a good situation, it’s not out of the question that those numbers take the cake tonight.

My favorite stack of the night is KC.  I love the OVER in this game.  Escobar,  Mouse, Cain, Hosmer, Perez and Gordon are all in great spots tonight to rake.  Shuffle them around, and get as many combos as you can with these 6 guys in your lineups.

I’m all in on Edwin E tonight.  Great numbers throughout his career in Camden Yards, paired with great BVP against Tillman, AND a big over/under with Toronto favored, makes him my top play of the night.

I think Beltran has a ton of value tonight.  I love his matchup, I love him hitting in the 3 hole, and he is still too cheap to pass up in this situation.

My top sneaky play of the night is……………………….Jason Castro.  Good BVP, great numbers in Texas, and he’s overdue to breakout of this slump.  Even with a small slate, I think his ownership will still be down under 5%.  Demons prediction: 2-4 with a double and a HR.

3/31/16

Crazy night AGAIN tonight because of resting players , and huge point spreads.  Don’t bother playing 50/50’s, because you are either going to nail it tonight with your lineup, or fail miserably.

Both JR Smith and Kyrie Irving are Game Times tonight because of illness, they SHOULD smoke the Nets (Especially with Lopez Out), so they might just rest them regardless.  Love, Tristan, and Lebron are all in GREAT position tonight, and I like Lebron coming off a rest.  Unless it’s a total blowout, and Lebron doesn’t play the 4th, I would say he is SAFE for 45 points, that doesn’t happen very often.  He is the stud to start at SF tonight, and just hope The Nets can keep it within 15 points.   Shane Larkin is a nice punt tonight at PG (especially if Delledova gets the start), and Thomas Robinson is coming off a monster game against Orlando.  Both of them are risky, but are so cheap they are worth the gamble.

Orlando is a MESS, I’m not touching anyone on the team.  Illysova and Vucevic are both back tonight and will eat into Gordon and Dedmons minutes.  Oladipo doesn’t play well (stats wise) against Ellis.  Elf has been on a boom streak, but I’m gonna skip him tonight on a bull shit hunch I have.  I like Paul George, I like George Hill, and I like Monta Ellis.  Vegas has The Pacers scoring a lot, so there will be some production for sure.  The player that really sticks out for me is Mahinmi.  Orlando is BY FAR the worst team in the NBA against Centers lately.  Big Ian has seen minutes consistently in the 30’s, and has been on a 30 PLUS fantasy point streak for the past 3 games.  I think he gets somewhere between 30-38 tonight.

I love Harden tonight, even when he plays “bad” he still gets you 45 points.  Good matchup tonight for The Rockets against a Bulls squad that legit can’t play D, anywhere.  I like Beverly as a big value play tonight, I hate Ariza every night, and Howard will either get you 25 tonight or 55.  There’s too much value elsewhere at Center tonight for me to pay up for him.  My “SUPER SNEAKY 0.6% OWNED PUNT VALUE DON’T DO IT BECAUSE ITS STUPID AND WON’T WORK PLAY” tonight is Motiejunas.  His minutes are down, he looks like crap, but I will take a one of my bullshit hunches on this and hope he can get me a sneaky 20-25 points at minimum salary.  (I am NOT advising you to do this, it’s a bad idea)

Two complete crap teams with complete crap D’s, will play each other tonight in the Crap Bowl of the evening with Denver playing New Orleans.  I like Will Barton for Denver, he’s still cheap enough, and has averaged 35 fantasy points the past 4 games.  Barton is as streaky as they come, be warned, when he crashes, he crashes bad.  Will Barton can turn into Will Brimley within minutes.  Ajinca, Cunningham, and Hamilton are all good value plays for The Pelicans.

The OKC game is DANGEROUS.  There is a VERY possible chance that Westbrook and Durant only play 24-27 minutes tonight because they dish out such a severe ass whopping.  If they both play 30 plus minutes, they both WILL get 50 points a piece, minimum.  I like Ibaka as a pivot tonight.   Paul, Jordan and Reddick all will not play tonight.  I love Jamal Crawford, and Cole Aldrich for LAC this evening.  Aldrich has a tough matchup on paper, but the guy is nearly a fantasy point per minute guy when he’s on the floor, regardless of matchup.  30 points is NOT out of the question for him tonight, and at min price, that’s HUGE.  Austin Rivers could return value fairly easy, but not a guarantee.

The Celts D has been really hit or miss since the All Star break.  They definitely play better at home, which doesn’t help them tonight in Portland.  CJ McCollum is one of my favorite plays at SG tonight, and is safe for 30 points, with a ceiling of 45 points.  That’s a big window, but Vegas says they will score a bunch, and that’s where I see it coming from.  I like Isaiah Thomas is always in play, and is probably one of the most consistent fantasy scores in the NBA.  He seems to always score between 34-44 points every night.  Lillard and The Blazers have been awful against the PG basically this entire season.

My favorite base 5 tonight to build around  are Lebron, Harden, Thomas, Mahinmi, and Crawford.

3/23

Lets do a real quick basic breakdown for tonight.  Again, this time of year ANYTHING can happen, do not BANK on anything, make your best predictions, and let it fly.  Don’t beat yourself up if you get smoked tonight, or any other night until the season is over, ITS NOT YOUR FAULT…………………………..its not your fault.

I’m skipping the Cleveland game, The Bucks have been a nightmare lately, Lebron is worth rostering, and his ownership won’t be too high, hes just not my favorite play at SF.

I love the Wall, Beal, and Porter stack tonight.  I always like any team going against Atlanta, and since these guys JUST played, MAYBE this one is a little easier to predict.  For Atlanta, gun to my head, I will give Al Horford a whirl

I don’t love the Toronto/ Boston game.  If Val was out, I would be all in on Bismack B, but it looks like Val is a go.

I love Oladipo tonight against Pistons team without KCP, but he just got REALLY expensive this morning.  He could get you 40 tonight, but so could Booker or Wiggins at a discounted price.  Revenge game for Harris???  Maybe, but he hasn’t been lighting it up lately.  Drummond can make or break you any night, I have a feeling he has a big game and scores over 45 fantasy points.

The only player I’m playing tonight in the Spurs game is Leonard.  I think he matches Lebron’s production tonight for a couple thousand dollars cheaper.

Call me crazy, but even though two total crap defenses face off in Denver tonight, I ain’t touching it.

I DO like the Lakers, and Phoenix game.  Chandler probably won’t play, and that makes Leur a plug and play.  Some sites have Len and Teletovic as the starters, but I think Leur will start instead.  Love Booker tonight, love Knight tonight.  As a sneaky play I like Jordan Clarkson at SG, especially if Russell doesn’t play.

If you want to just take last games stats in the Portland matchup, multiply it by .85 (because of the overtime), you might have a somewhat safe prediction on these guys.  Deron Williams will be the highest owned PG tonight because of the monster he put up last game against Lillard, but beware.  Deron Williams COULD disappear and get you 20-25 points tonight.  Dirk is on a tare, he’s worth the $$, Mejri is TOO CHEAP not to throw in a few lineups, and I like Plumlee again with Meyers Leonard already ruled out.

I’m ALL IN on Draymond Green.  MINT matchup, great career numbers, GSW is home, and Curry hasn’t lit up Chris Paul very much the past few years.  If you’re going to do multiple lineups, and you want to anchor them with one guy, I have to believe Green has the highest floor and Ceiling.  Draymond Green could be the highest fantasy producer tonight, slightly above John Wall.  Your head to heads or 50/50’s should absolutely have both Wall and Green in them

3/21

This time of the year is INSANE for DFS Hoops, NOTHING IS A SURE THING, and 50/50s from this point on are a complete crap shoot.  Make your best lineup, and through it in GPP’s, and cross your fingers.

I really don’t think Love plays tonight, The Cavs are going to start resting their starting 5 , and with Love under the weather, this seems like a perfect spot for him to sit.  IF he does, the Lebron, Kyrie AND Tristan stack is really nice.  Obviously, the usage rate with these guys goes up substantially without Love.  Jr Smith has a nice matchup on paper, but he has burned me too many times the last two years.  If you’re going for 1 of these guys, I think Lebron is going to eclipse 55 fantasy points tonight.  Iman Shumpert will be highly owned, but even in the starting 5 he only gets 24-27 minutes, and doesn’t do too much with it.

I’m all in on Paul George for obvious reasons tonight.  Always start opposing SF’s against Philly, regardless of who it is (Unless it’s Kyle Singler).  He should flirt with or even go over 50 fantasy points tonight at home.

My CONTRARIAN PG tonight is going to be Kemba Walker.  With so many good options out there at PG, Walker will be owned less than 5%.  Tony Parker can be swiss cheese on any given night, and when Kemba is on his game, he is just as good as Lowry or even Wall.  This is not a safe play, but if you want to get ballsy, Kemba could be a big ticket tonight.

I like Amir Johnson as a cheap option at PF.  Amir’s minutes have been steadily climbing the last few games, and his production has been a nice surprise.  The Celts are at home, against an Orlando D that STINKS vs the PF.  Get him in cheap, and pray for 25-28 minutes of action

I like Derrick Rose as a nice Value tonight against The Kings.  Rose has great career numbers against Rondo, and if he gets you 35-40 fantasy points tonight (which I think he will), it makes him an incredible asset tonight.

The GSW game is going to be nuts.  There are so many options here.  Draymond Green could flirt with a triple double, Curry should score anywhere from 50 - 65 fantasy points, Rush could be a nice value, or kill your lineup if he gets you a 10.  I actually think the biggest return in VALUE on The Warriors side comes from Barnes.  He should see 30 minutes, and against The Wolves in that spot, he could get you 30 points.  Towns could have a 50 point game, and I like Rubio a lot tonight as well.  If you are playing Rubio, it makes sense to pair him with Towns (and Vice Versa) for the hook up.  If The Wolves can keep this close, this game is going to be a gold mine for fantasy production

Again, the Phoenix – Memphis game is a NIGHTMARE !!  Which Lance shows up?  Is Ray McCallum going to play 30 minutes?  Which Alex Len decides to show up?  If I have to take a few players on this game, I’m taking Tyson Chandler, Devin Booker, and Tony Allen.  If McCallum was ABSOLUTLEY the starter, and I KNEW he was getting 30 minutes against Brandon Knight, I would be ALL IN on him.  Don’t RELY on ANYTHING in this game.  That being said, the risk is worth the reward on some of these guys since neither team was ever taught who to play defense.  The two biggest jinx’s of all time (Matt Barnes and PJ Tucker) square off against each other tonight.   Something tells me these guys are going to collide with each other and both get carried off the court by the mascots.

QUICK AND DIRTY WEDNESDAY NIGHT BREAKDOWN

If you’re going to punt a position tonight, its SG.  I like Klay Thompson, and other than that, nothing that expensive.  I hate Harden’s career numbers against The Clippers, and Oladipo is on back to back’s with a tough matchup tonight.  Good punt plays would be Korver or Wes Matthews.  Both of these guys could 100% throw up 10-15 fantasy points, but it’s a punt, they should at least get the minutes and they both have decent matchups.

I think Durant has a monster game tonight and puts up 60 Fantasy Points against a Celts team without Crowder

I like Taj Gibson tonight to get a double-double and close to 30 Fantasy Points making him a value.  I’m fading Wall tonight at home.  He historically does not play well against Rose or even a Rose-less Bulls team.

I love the Kemba Walker – Marvin Williams combo tonight, shouldn’t be too high owned, and could return huge value against a crap Magic Defense.

I actually like a DETROIT stack against Atlanta tonight.  After how they played last game, nobody in their right mind would stack them.  That being said, they match up nicely against them, and Detroit is back home.  Reggie- Morris- Drummond is my “Sneaky Stack” tonight.

The Wolves game is a NIGHTMARE.  I have no idea what is going to happen.  My two favorite plays are, Wiggins because he sees the most minutes regardless of the score, and JaMychal Green because he owned them last time they faced off, and due to his shitty recent play, I think his ownership will be way down.  His price is up as well, Green is my SNEAKY PICK of the night

Dwight Howard is my favorite Center on the board tonight

If Norris Cole doesn’t play, Tony Douglas is kind of a plug and play

Draymond Green is my favorite PF of the night and I have a feeling he Triple-Doubles tonight and returns more Value than Anthony Davis.

Cheap PG Options:

Jose Calderon, Ray McCallum, Marcus Smart, Tony Douglas

3/9

Yikes, a friggin jumbo nightmare right off the bat.  First, JaMychal Green will be owned in 65% of GPP’s tonight, but I can’t fade him.   Z-Bo is doubtful, and Memphis is so thin that Green should see 35 minutes tonight at Center where The Celts have really struggled against all season.  I can understand fading him because of the ownership, but I can’t do that tonight.   Tony Allen is a good play, I won’t play Barnes because he jinxes every lineup I’ve ever had him in.  Chalmers will be popular, but a tough matchup vs Thomas.  On The Celt’s side, I think Thomas is a strong/ safe bet for 40 fantasy points tonight, and I think Amir Johnson is a nice sneaky pivot play.  Olynk and Sully are both questionable, and if they sit, Amir could be looking at over 25 minutes of action for the first time in months.

Harden is in a nice situation tonight, but his price is so high he needs 55 points to return value.  Harden on the road, is not completely the same as Harden at home, so I won’t have him across the board tonight.  Howard is safe play for 40 points, and using him in head to heads or 50/50’s make sense.  The guy I really like tonight in this game is Covington.  Great matchup, has seen tons of minutes the last couple weeks, and has great numbers vs Houston.

Believe it or not, I’m going to go contrarian and fade the NOP vs Charlotte game.  Big over under, but these guys have strange underperforming numbers against each other.  It’s almost like they match up well vs one another.    I think ownership will be high, but this is the game I will roll the dice on and not touch it.

Whiteside is probable to play tonight, and could be in for a MONSTER against The Bucks.  I like pairing him with D Wade tonight who might be my favorite play at SG.  It’s not out of the question that these guys combine for 90 tonight.

For my LOW OWNED CRAZY COMBO tonight I’m going with the Reggie Jackson / Drummond combo.  With so many other options out there, I think they both will be owned less that 5% tonight.  Dallas stinks on D, Reggie looks a bit better, and Drummond is about ready to snap out of this HUGE funk and throw up a 55 any night now.

The Knicks play CRAP defense the second night of back to back sets.  I’m all in on Devin Booker and Alex Len tonight.  PJ Tucker is cheap enough where he can return value, and if you really feel ballsy putting Price in could be a nice little play to give you some cap relief.  These guys all should see minutes in the 30’s (maybe not Price), they are home tonight, and The Knicks played Crap defense last night as well.  Devin Booker is my second favorite SG play tonight behind Wade.

The OKC game is really a coin flip.  All these guys always return value when they play each other, but nobody exceeds it too much.  Paul, Durant, Westbrook and Jordan are all great plays in head to heads and 50/50’s tonight, but putting more than one in your lineup will not win you a GPP this evening.  I think Durant has the most upside, and if anyone exceeds it out of these four, I think he’s the guy.  I like Ibaka as a nice pivot play too.

I’m ALL IN on the Kyrie/ Lebron combo.  I’m not even going to talk about The Kings Defense, if you’re reading this, chances are you aren’t an idiot and are quite aware of their situation.  Both Lebron and Irving have GREAT numbers vs The Kings, and I think they are (or should be) embarrassed about that Memphis game the other night.  If Mozgov sits, throwing Tristan Thompson in with these guys could be genius.

Curry is as safe as they come, but I have a feeling GSW SMOKES Utah tonight.  This could be dicey with minutes in the second half.  I’ll stay away from this one on a hunch that The Warriors win 114 to 82.
