WEDNSDAY NIGHT DRAFTKINGS TOP NBA PICKS

Tyreke Evans – SG PELICANS - $7,600

Jrue Holiday is sidelined tonight with an injury, Evans will most likely start at PG against Brandon Jennings.  Jennings has been great offensively, and mediocre on defense lately.  When Evans isn’t playing PG tonight, I think he will slide into SG which is great because he will have to deal with Jodie Meeks and Caldwell-Pope.  Evans can get points, rebounds, assists, and the occasional steal and block.  I think he may be the guy to triple-double tonight if he sees 35 minutes on the floor.  HE should be priced in the 8000’s but he is at mid 7000.  He needs 35-40 tonight to be a value, and I think he reaches 40-45 Plus.  Tremendous value and somewhat a “Safe play” at the same time.

Marcin Gortat- C WIZARDS- $6,100

I LOVE when guys have repeat matchups within a 5 day span because their stat line is far more predictable.  Gortat put up a 43 when he faced The Bulls just last week.  I don’t know what is up with Noah’s defense this season, but he pretty much stinks thus far.  Even if Gortat gives you 35 points instead of 43, he returns his value plus some.  Vallanciuans is priced the same and has a CAKE game tonight against The 76ers( Al Horford had a monster last night), but I’m afraid of a blowout where he could only see 20-25 minutes of action.  Gortat may be the safer of the two with Big Val having more “upside”

Nicolas Batum- SF TRAILBLAZERS - $6,000

Batum is really consistent putting up 30 points per game, he never gets to 45 but rarely dips under 25.  He gets The Clippers tonight and Matt Barnes.  Barnes is the weak defensive link for LA and has been all season.  Batum put up a 38 when they faced each other earlier this season.  Pencil him in for a 35-40 again, which is really nice for 6K

Donatas Motiejunas- PF ROCKETS - $5,200

I was afraid when Houston acquired Josh Smith last month that Donny was going to be a 15-20 minute bench guy, but that’s not the case.  Smith is that guy.  He is averaging 30 minutes and 30 points a game the past week or so.  Tonight he gets a GREAT matchup against Channing Frye and Kyle O’quinn.  Tobias Harris is out tonight and the PF’s and SF’s for Orlando will have all the minutes they can handle tonight and tend to get real sloppy when this happens.  Motiejunas keeps the 30 + streak alive tonight.  (I like D Howard in a revenge game KIND OF tonight as well.  He has been crap lately, but has DESTROYED Orlando in the past.  He is a gamble, but might be worth it)

Mario Chalmers- PG HEAT- $4,300

D-Wade is banged up and PROBABLY won’t play tonight.  Chalmers filled in nicely for him last night against LA.  He gets The Warriors tonight who aren’t bulletproof against opposing guards.  Chalmers won’t put up a Mo-Mo 69 points, but if he can get 30, that is HUGE for $4,300.  Chalmers is an assist specialist, and GS give up assists.  Chalmers has actually produced a lot this season when he is given 30 minutes or more.  Make sure Wade is out before tip off

ALWAYS CHECK LINEUPS AT 6:45 TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO NONSENSE SUCH AS LAST NIGHTS HAWK’S TOMFOOLERY WHERE THEY DECIDED TO SIT HALF THEIR STARTERS JUST BEFORE TIP-OFF.  THIS SUCKS WHEN YOU BASE 10 LINEUPS AROUND DEMARRE CARROLL AND HAVE 15 MINUTES OF EDITING WHICH REALLY SHOULD TAKE AN HOUR OR TWO…………………….dicks

TUESDAY NIGHT DRAFTKINGS TOP NBA PICKS

Kevin Love- PF Cleveland $10,200

Love is coming off a huge game against the Kings where he sat most of the 4th quarter because The Cavs were getting smoked.  Love really thrives and he's stepped up since Lebron has been out.  James MIGHT return tonight, which could hurt Love’s numbers.  IF Lebron doesn’t suit up, I think Love is a must play.  Love DESTROYED Memphis last time they met this season with this monster: 36 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals.    That’s just about 70 points, he has played Memphis 13 times in his career and is averaging a double-double plus against them.  Hes expensive, but 50-60 points might be in his future tonight.

Michael Carter- Williams – PG Philly $8,500

Carter- Williams can get you 30 points, or he can get you 60, he is the definition of “risky”.  He faces off against Jeff Teague tonight who is Swiss cheese with sneakers.  Last game, Carter-Williams nearly Triple-Doubled, and I expect a similar line tonight.  Other than Kyrie Irving, I think Williams is the second best PG option tonight.  I think Irving and Williams will have similar point totals, but I’ll take the discount.

Draymond Green- SF Warriors $8,300

I’ve heard a lot today on fantasy radio how green is a bad play tonight.  I disagree.  Green plays 30 minutes every game, and fills the stat sheets with 5 categories.  He gets a banged-up-limping Favors tonight, or his Kanter or Gobert, regardless, he can defend these guys and produce some serious points.  I’ll go against the grain, and pay for Green.

Mo Williams- PG T-Wolves $5400

He is my go to guy since Lavine lost his starting job.  Williams is SOLID in fantasy, he always gets just enough points and rebounds to earn his price.  He gets The Pacers tonight who have been struggling against opposing PG’s the past week.  When these two teams met earlier this season, Mo-Mo put up 42 Draftking’s points.

DeMarre Carroll- SF Atlanta $5,200

Carroll OWNED Philly earlier this season, and he’s been really consistent the past week or so with his fantasy production.  I don’t LOVE stacking The Hawks tonight against The 76ers, if it’s a blowout, there might be some serious bench out on the floor in the 4th.  If Carroll plays 25 minutes, he will score 30 points, that’s what I’m shooting for.  If he can play 30 plus, he could be in for a big night for 5200.  (It’s interesting to note that Jeff Teague does NOT play Philly well)

Wesley Johnson- SF Lakers $4,000

I’m flip flopping between Wes and Solomon Hill for this price.  Both should put up 20-30 points tonight, but with The T-Wolves banged up, I’m not sure where the big scorers will be (David West is my best guess).  I don’t think Hill is a bad play at all, I just think Wesley Johnson has the ability to put up a 35 tonight, and Hill does not.  The Lakers will score points, but I can’t see where its coming from other than the man who plays against Loul Deng.  Wade, Bosh, Anderson-Whiteside, and even Norris Cole are decent defenders, I think Loul is the weak point.  This is the type of player who can put you from 25th place to 1st place if things fall into place.

TONIGHTS TOP DRAFTKINGS NBA PLAYS

David West –PF Pacers $6,300

David West hasn’t really “Gone Off” this season yet, I think that changes tonight against Boston.  West faces off against Sullinger tonight, and even though Sully’s scoring goes up and down, his defense is always bad.  CJ Watson and Stuckey might sit tonight, and that leaves the majority of points coming from West.  The Celts are a MESS, exploit it.  Sloan makes for a great play too if Watson doesn’t play

Jarret Jack –PG Brooklyn- $6,400

Jack gets a tasty matchup tonight against The 76ers.  Deron Williams is out tonight therefore Jack will see 30 minutes plus of action.  I expect Jack to fill up the sheet tonight who rank bottom of the barrel in giving up assists, points, rebounds, and steals.  Pencil him in for 40 Draftkings points tonight

Kris Middleton – SF Bucks - $4,800

The bucks are a mess, and when it comes to Defense, so are The T-Wolves.  Middleton is listed as a SF but he really has been playing SG, which benefits him tonight.  Middleton and Knight are the only 2 players on The Bucks who consistently sees over 28 minutes a game.  $4,800 is cheap for a guy that will probably put up 30 points tonight

Alex Len – C – Suns - $4,200

Extreme value tonight, his numbers and minutes keep climbing every night.  He has been a blocking MACHINE the past couple of games and after tonight, I think his price climbs to $5500.  Get him while hes cheap, even if he puts up a 25 tonight, he over produces for his price.

Zach LaVine – PG Timberwolves - $3,500

I think Mo Williams sits tonight, and Rubio isn’t ready to come back yet.  Lavine will see 30 minutes tonight, and although The Bucks play the PG well, he still will easily earn his $3,500 paycheck.  Last time they faced off, Zach put up 30 Draftkings points, he is streaky, but for that cheap, he is worth the risk. (MAKE SURE MO WILLIAMS IS OUT BEFORE INSERTING LAVINE)

TONIGHTS DRAFTKINGS/ FAN DUEL NBA PICKS

Jeff Teague $7,800 DK   $7,700 Fan Duel

23 pts, 11 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals last game, for 50 PLUS on Kings.  He put up a 47 two games ago against The Bucks, he is rolling.  Ride it while you can, Teague is very streaky, but when hes good, he competes with the best PG’s in the league.  He gets Utah tonight who have been pretty bad this season  aginst the PG.  I am projecting him right around 40 tonight, which makes him a value

Paul Millsap $9,100 DK $8,400 Fan Duel

Millsap is averaging 40 points the past 5 games, that doesn’t make him a value if he puts up another 40 tonight.  However, last outing against Utah Millsap put up a 66 point performance.  Through his history, Millsap has destroyed The Jazz.  He is expensive tonight, but I think he will finish with 45-50 spot

Rajon Rondo $7,900 DK  $8,200 Fan Duel

Rondo makes his return tonight to Boston.  I think Rondo loves big emotion games and is going to thrive on his understudies tonight.  Rondo has been really consistent since joining the Mavs, and might have a monster tonight.  Im calling a triple double with 40 plus fantasy points tonight

Trey Burke- $5,600 DK $5,500 Fan Duel

The better Jeff Teagues Offense gets, the worse his defense gets.  Burke gets Teague tonight.  Trey Burke has really stepped up since Alec Burks went down with a shoulder injury.  He put up a 41.5 last game against The Wolves.  Hes averaging 38.3 points this season against The Hawks.   He is going to fall in 30-40 point range which is huge at $5600

Zaza Pachulia $4,100 DK  $4,900 Fan Duel

Zaza is starting tonight again with Illy and Sanders being ruled out.  I don’t LOVE any other centers tonight (other than Drummond), Zaza will get between 22-32 points, and that is awesome at such a low price.  Zaza could score just as much as Tyson Chandler, Al Horford or Kanter for almost HALF the price, I’ll take the value all day long.

Tayshaun Prince  $3,300 DK  $3,900 Fan Duel

Prince might be the biggest value play of the night.  Z-Bo looks like a No-Go again tonight, and Prince seems to eat his minutes.  Tayshaun goes up against The lakers tonight, he will play somewhere around the 25 minute mark, and score somewhere around the 25 point range.  At almost minimum salary, it’s nearly impossible to find 25 points.  Im taking him
