WEEK 13 TOP DRAFTKINGS PLAYS

QB

Ben Roethlisberger - $7,600 -  Remember when Big ben threw for 1000 yards and 12 touchdowns a couple of weeks ago?  He has been really  sub par his past 2 weeks, only 2 td’s and 3 INT’s.  So was it a fluke?  Kind of, but look at Ben’s Home/Road splits, they are shocking!  !7 of his 24 TD’s have come at home this year, he thrives when playing in Pitssburgh.  He faces a banged up Saints D that got torched by The Ravens last week, plus lost another Saftey during their whopping.  Ben might be the top producing QB this week, and is $2000 cheaper than, Luck, Manning, Rodgers.  Pair him up with Lev Bell, Antonio Brown, and Martavis Bryant.  Demon Projection : 365 yards, 4 Td’s

Ryan Tannehill - $6,900 -  Ryan Tannehill is quietly having a decent fantasy season.  He has 10 Td’s in the past 4 games and has looked really solid.  He shockingly has been very effective running the ball as well which helps boost his fantasy totals.  He gets The Jets today, the worst Defense in the NFL.  Everyteam this year has smoked NY through the air. Jets have given up 27 passing Tds this season.   There is no reason Tannehill shouldn’t do the same today.   Pair him with Mike Wallace or Jarvis Landry to double your points.  Demon Projection.  322 yards, 2 Tds, 45 rushing yards, 1 TD

Andy Dalton - $6,100 – I don’t LOVE Andy Dalton, but at this price, going against Tampa Bay, he is worth a shot.  He could throw up 1 TD and 4 Int’s, or 4 TD’s and 1 Int.  The good news for Dalton is that ALL of his weapons are back, and when AJ Green is on the field, that offense clicks and produces like a top tier team.  It is a juicy matchup, he has looked better, it could be a nice sneaky play.  Demon Projection: 288 yards, 3 TD’s

RB

Lev Bell- $8,700 – I just see The Steelers owning The Saints today, and Lev Bell is the only running Back Pittsburgh really has.  He has been amazing and consistent all season long, Forsett killed The Saints last week, I expect Bell to one-up him.  Demon Projection: 110 yards 1 TD, 6 receptions, 60 yards, 1 TD

Denard Robinson- $6,000 – Denard layed an egg last week. 14 carries for 25 yards, yikes, that’s Ben Tate territory.  Let’s not forget that the 4 games before that, he AVERAGED 100 + yards and a TD.  That is a truly impressive number.  Also, lets not forget he faces the worst run Defense today: NY Giants.  I think he gets back on track today, and produces over his price point.  Demon Projection: 20 carries for 118 yards and 2 TD

Tre Mason - $4,600 – Mason gets The Raiders at St. Louis this week.  Oakland gives up 126 yards per game to Running Backs.  Mason has averaged 20 carries and a couple of targets per game.  He is the lead back, hands down.  He has had some tough matchups, but this isn’t one of them.  I think he is in for a MONSTER.  Demon projection: 25 Carries for 138 yards, 2 TDs

WR

Antonio Brown/ Martavis Bryant -$9,000-$4,700SEE BEN ROETHLISBERGER- I think Antonio will have a monster, and Bryant could easily earn his $4,700 price, there could be 300 yards and 3 TD’s splitup between these two.  Play one, or play both

Jarvis landry/ Mike Wallace -$5,400- $4,600SEE RYAN TANEHILL – Same thing, this might be more of an even split compard to Brown/Bryant, but both will produce enough to make them great values.  250 yards and 2 TD’s split up between the two of them

Robert Woods- $3,600 – Woods has been fairly consistent lately, Sammy Watkins has not.  Im riding the hot hand here, and at $3,600, it could be a HUGE play if he produces similar to his last week performance VS The Jets.  Robert Woods could be the best VALUE PLAY of the week.  He faces a crappy Cleveland Secondary that ranks in the bottom quarter of the NFL.  He might flirt with last week numbers.  Demon projection: 8 receptions, 92 yards, 1 TD

TE

Travis Kelce $4,300 – Denver stinks against the Tight End, and Kelce is the only weapon other than Charles that Alex Smith uses.

Jermaine Gresham- $3,100 – Again, I HATE all Tight Ends this week.  I don’t like Gronk or Graham at all, especially with their hefty price tags.  Gresham has a legit shot at finding the end zone this week.  Hes cheap, do it……………..do it.

GO GET YOUR HANDCUFFS

Its at the point in your season where its time to clean house of the crap that is on your bench and prepare for the playoffs.  THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO IS PICK UP ANY HANDCUFF FOR RUNNING BACKS THAT MAY BE AVAILABLE ON THE WIRE.  You need a safety blanket because if Marshawn Lynch got you this far, then goes out and tares his hammy, and you don’t have Turbin, you can kiss your trophy goodbye.  Get your players in case of a worst case scenario.  Also, picking up Knile Davis, could really block your opponent if he is a Jamal Charles owner, and he goes down.  Clear the Riley Coopers and backup Tight Ends on your squad for players that could give you a huge advantage in do or die situations.  Top Handcuffs:

Knile Davis -  J. Charles

James Starks – Eddie Lacy

Ka’Deem Carey- Matt Forte

Robert Turbin – Marshawn Lynch

Lance Dunbar/ Randle – Demarco Murray

Helu Jr – Alf Morris

Stef Taylor – Andre Ellington

Pierre Thomas – Mark Ingram

Daniel Thomas – Lamar Miller

Branden Oliver – Ryan Mathews

Carlos Hyde – Frank Gore

Devonta Freeman – Steven Jackson

Terrence West – Isaiah Crowell

Toby Gerhart – Denard Robinson

Shonn Greene – Bishop Sankey

Andre Williams – Rashard Jennings

Benny Cunningham – Tre Mason

WEEK 13 ADDS

Latavius Murray- RB Oakland -  I told you to pick him up last week, hopefully you did.  He had 120 Plus yards and 2 TD’s on only 4 touches.  This kid looks like a beast, and reminds me of Larry Johnson.  He is a special combo of size and athletic talent.  He is still only owned in 40% of Yahoo leagues, if he is available, you HAVE to find a way to pick him up.  He has huge upside and should be at least owned in all formats

Boom Herron – RB Colts-    Apparently HE is now the starting RB in Indy over Trent Richardson.  He got more carries than Richardson last week and I guess that’s the game plan going forward.  The real nice part of Herron is his amazingly easy upcoming schedule.  He could be a great Flex spot player for your playoff run

LeGarrette Blount – RB New England-  Good luck, he is the flavor of the week for The Pats.  The only upside and sense of consistency I do see, is the fact that he will be the goal-line guy.  Don’t count on him, but you could do worse, hes worth adding if you are really hurting at RB depth or have garbage on your bench that there is no possible way you are going to use

Kenny Stills – WR  Saints -   He looked good against the Ravens Sunday night.  He got plenty of targets and made some nice grabs.  He is targeted too often and has too good of a QB to be on the wire.  He will be the main beneficiary of Cooks’ injury.

Jarvis Landry – WR Miami-  26 targets, 150 yards, 3 TD’s in the last 3 games.  The rookie from LSU looks like possibly one of the best rookies this year.  I love his matchup this week VS The Jets, and I think Tannehill is getting better each week.  The Landry/ Mike Wallace splits are very similar to the Evans/ Vincent Jackson breakdown.  Landry is a must add at this point.

Monday Nights Top Draftkings Basketball Plays

Jose Calderon –PG KNICKS  $3,000 (MINIMUM)

Calderon is now the “Starting PG” for The Knicks.  He made his debut Saturday and played fairly well in 21 Minutes of action.  I would expect his minutes to creep up closer to the 26:00 minute mark tonight.  Patrick Beverly is out tonight so Calderon will face up against Isaiah Canaan, which is a pretty good matchup.  I don’t expect Calderon to put up 40 fantasy points, but 20 to 25 points is quite possible and at $3,000 that makes him a huge value.

Kostas Papanikolaou – SF ROCKETS $3,600

Big Papa is averaging 28.62 fantasy points and 36 minutes in the past 2 games.  Dwight Howard is out again tonight, so Pap’s minutes should remain between 30-35.  HE faces the Knicks tonight and should stay around the 24-30 fantasy point range, far exceeding his pricetag.

Nikola Mirotic – PF BULLS $4,300

Nikola scored an amazing 42 fantasy points in 35 minutes of action last game.  Taj Gibson is out, so he makes a nice play getting the extra minutes.  If Pau Gasol is out again, Nikola is a 100% must start against Utah tonight.  This kid has talent and is actually fun to watch.

Channing Frye – PF MAGIC $5,200

Frye has been logging serious minutes so far this season, and tonight will be no different with Kyle O’Quinn still sidelined and Tobias Harris a game time decision.  He will square up against The Cavs tonight who boycott playing defense for some reason.  $5,200 is still cheap enough for him to return value.  His price should be a lot closer to $6,000

Use these values to get Harden, Vu, Chris Paul, and Monta Ellis in your lineups tonight

LAST MINUTE DRAFTKINGS PICKS

Kyle Orton -$5,600

Dirt cheap, going up against one of the worst pass defenses in The NFL.  The real reason he jumped up the board for me is because of the 47 feet of snow that fell in Buffalo, the game has been moved Indoors to Detroit Monday Night..  Kyle Orton has a really good track record when playing indoors, his QB rating jumps 15 Plus points compared to grass (Aaron Rodgers is 100% the opposite, he drops 15 points when playing on turf).  The Jets get burned by WR's, I like Orton/ Watkins/Chandler or Orton/Woods/Chandler combos in GPP tourneys, could be huge if he goes off.

Keenan Allen - $4,900

Allens numbers have quietly gone up the past 2 weeks, he's starting to look like the 2013 version of himself.  St Louis's Run D is VERY SOLID, I think The Chargers are going to have a tough time running against them.  The air attack will be there best bet, I think Allen has serious value potential at $4,900.

Larry Donnell - $3,900

I don't ever LIKE Larry Donnell.  I am not a huge fan, BUT Dallas is the worst in the NFL at covering opposing Tight Ends, AND last time he faced The Cowboys he had 7 catches for 90 yards.  I also hate almost every TE this weekend, if I have to pick 1 mid range guy, he is my default choice.

Minnesota D - $2,600

THE CHEAPEST D ON KINGS.  I don't know why I like them, they have the ability to put up fantasy points,   They put up 15 and 19 a few weeks ago in back to back weeks.  I don't like Aaron Rodgers this week, I'm going against him.  At $2,600 the risk is worth the reward
FOSTER OUT

Arian Foster is OUT today.  Alf Blue is a great flex play or RB2 now.  Someone got smart on Draftkings and have him over $5000.  I wouldn't say he is a MUST START at that price.  I would rather have Trent Richardson or Crowell for less money.

In other SHOCKING NEWS Reggie Bush wont play.  The Patriots can rest easy knowing that they don't have to deal with the Reggie "The Football Wizard" Bush.  Please just drop him if you own him in any league.

WEEK 12 DRAFTKINGS FAN DUEL QB/RB/WR PLAYS

QB

Drew Brees – DK $8,200  Fan Duel $9,000

Brees is at home this week against a Ravens Passing D that ranks in the bottom 3rd in the NFL.  They give up 251 yards per game, 14 TD’s this season and have only Intercepted the opposing QB a shocking 6 times all season.  Brees is coming off a mediocre game against The Bengals, but I think hes in for a bounce back game in a shootout against Baltimore.  Demon Projection: 340 yards, 3 Td’s, 1 Int.

Jay Cutler – DK $7,700  Fan Duel $8,800

Cutler is the poster child for “Streaky” QB’s.  He’s coming off a great game against Minnesota.  I would expect him to keep it rolling at home VS Tampa Bay, which is one of the worst Defenses in all of football.  TB stinks in the cold too, they always do.  They give up 266 yards per game, and 20 TD’s this season.  They are prone to smaller passes and don’t give up too much production to the long bombs.  I think Martellius Bennett is going to have himself a game, and Matt Forte as well. Demon projection: 310 yards, 3 TD’s, 1 Int

Josh McCown – DK $6,600  Fan Duel $7,500

McCown has thrown for 589 yards and 4 TD’s his past two games.  He plays against his former team, The Chicago Bears, in Chicago this weekend.  I, for one, believe in the “Revenge Game Factor”.  There is something to be said for a player going up against his ex-team and teammates.  McCowan played really well in Chicago when he was filling in for Cutler.  Putting all the mental stuff aside, this is a great matchup for him.  The Bears give up 256 yards per game, 24 passing td’s thus far (2nd worst in the NFL), and 9 plays of 40 or more yards.  McCown is so cheap he doesn’t need to throw 5 or 4 TD’s to be a good value.  I do think he has a huge game, and you can use the price difference to go after D. Murray or Forte.  Demon Projection: 288 yards, 3 TD’s, 0 Int

RB

Eddie Lacy – DK $7,300  Fan Duel $8,600

Last time he played Minnesota, 132 yards and 2 TD’s.  Last time he played in a dome, 182 total yards at New Orleans.  Everything is pointing to Lacy having a huge game.  He could have the same production (Possibly more) than Murrray or Forte, at a cheaper price.  I do not see Aaron Rodgers having an earth-shattering game.  I think this will be the Lacy Show.  Demon Projection: 115 yards 1 TD, 4 receptions 44 yards 1 TD

Justin Forsett –  DK $6,500  Fan Duel $7,700

Forsett visits New Orleans this week.  The Saints got TORCHED by Jeremy Hill last weekend, and have given up 10 rushing TD’s this season.  Forsett and The Ravens are coming off a bye week, and a set of fresh legs never hurts.  My only concern is Forsett taking it to the one yard line and another Ravens RB robbing him for the score.  Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.  Demon Projection: 17 carries 108 yards 1 td, 3 receptions for 21 yards

Trent Richardson – DK $4,900  Fan Duel $5,700

He has really been mediocre this season.  If he is ever going to get it together, and produce a big game, it HAS TO BE this week.   Bradshaw out, its NOW OR NEVER.  He faces a terrible Jaguars run Defense in Indy, that gives up 125 yards per game, and a league worst 12 times given up running plays of 20 or more yards.  This may be the last time you can get him this cheap.  Demon Projection: 15 carries 80 yards 1 TD, 7 receptions 52 yards 1 td

WR

AJ Green – DK $7,300  Fan Duel $8,600

Green will be the #1 WR this week.  The most success I’ve had this season has been when I take the WR #1 versus The Texans.  They give up league worst 290 yards per game, 20 touchdowns, and 12 plays of 40 or more yards, through the air.  HOUSTON CAN NOT COVER WIDE RECIEVERS.  Maybe Sanu gets some action as well, but Green will be a monster, he had a nice game last week against the Saints as well (6 for 127 and 1 Td).  Demon Projection: 11 Receptions for 209 yards and 2 TD’s

Sammy Watkins –  DK $5,600  Fan Duel $7,500

Watkins has had 2 duds in a row, I don’t think he makes it 3 this week.  Last time he played the Jets he scorched them for 157 yards and a TD.  The Jets stink against opposing WR’s.  They have given up a league worst 25 receiving touchdowns this season, with 11 plays of 40 or more yards.  That screams Sammy Watkins to me.  Demon Projection: 7 receptions, 128 yards, 2 Td’s

Torrey Smith – DK $5,400  Fan Duel $6,500

Smith has 6 touchdowns in the past 6 games.  He is good for 5 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown almost every game.  The Saints give up 261 yards per game through the air and 1.6 passing touchdowns per game.  That production needs to come from someone, Steve Smith JR’s numbers slowly go down, Torrey Smith slowly go up.  He is a very “Safe” player to go with this week.  If he gets his 5/80/1, he over produced compared to his pricetag.  Demon Projection: 5 for 80 with 1

NFL Fantasy News

ADRIAN PETERSON SUSPENDED FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON – The Commish doesn’t think that the games Peterson already missed is enough of a punishment.  The NFL has decided that Peterson should not be able to play again in the 2014 season.  That being said, I wouldn’t drop him quite yet if you’ve held on to him this long.  The NFLPA and his lawyers instantly appealed the decision.  It doesn’t look good, but maybe something will happen in the next 36-48 hours which will give us a better idea of what the final outcome will be.

Ben Tate Released by Browns – After performing MISERABLY for the past 6 weeks, Ben Tate has been released by The Browns.  He has been a nightmare in the locker room, and since he is worthless on the field, the organization let him go.  It’s good news for Isaiah Crowell who now more than ever has secured the starting RB Roll in Cleveland.   The three headed monster, now has only two heads.  If Tate is dropped in your league, you may consider picking him up.  The Colts, among others, need a Rb desperately.  Its not out of the question that Denver makes a play for him as well after Montee Ball had a set back with his groin injury.  He will be out an adiitional 2-3 weeks.  At this point you need to Drop The Ball.

Jordan Reed pulls his OTHER Hammy – HE syas hes not sure about this weekend, which to me means, he isn’t playing.  IF he is your #1 TE, time to pick up Niles Paul who isn’t half bad when given some volume
Reggie Bush Will Play this weekend – Awesome, you can use him for the 1st quarter until he re-injures himself again and watches the rest of the game from the sideline.  Reggie Bush is Fantasy Nightmare

WEEK 12 Must Adds

Kenny Stills – WR New Orleans – Brandin Cooks is done for your 2014 Fantasy football season after destroying his thumb yesterday.  HE was a pleasant surprise, and someone has to step up and fill his shoes.  Kenny Stills will be that guy, he was already getting a decent amount of looks before this injury to Cooks, now, his targets and production will increase.  Stills is quite capable of producing solid numbers going forward and I think Brees will look to him between 7-11 times a game which is impossible to find on the waiver wire.  Remaining Schedule (pretty damn easy): Baltimore, @ Pittsburgh, Carolina, @ Chicago, Atlanta

Jonas Gray – RB New England – Yup, he had a “MONSTER” game, and if you predicted him having 199 yards and 4 Td’s you are a “LIAR”.  The O Line looked good, Gray looked good, it worked out nicely.  If hes available, you obviously have to pick him up.  What you shouldn’t do is be a “moron” and trade Eddie Lacy or Levon Bell for him because he had a good game.  Reason #1, he might get 8 carries next week because Bellichick loves screwing over fantasy football players.  There is too much variation week to week on how he utilizes his talent, it’s great for wins in The NFL, it’s enough to make you punch your television for fantasy purposes.  Also, his remaining schedule is pretty good against the run: Detroit, @Green Bay, @San Diego, Miami, @ Jets

Isaiah Crowell – RB Cleveland – It took the Browns 9 games to figure it out, but Crowell is the best Running Back on the squad. Ben Tate is a punchline at this point and West cant carry the ball more than 10 times.  Going forward, Crowell will be the guy, he has the starting gig, and I believe will hold it down.  Any starting RB should not be on the waiver wire.  Decent remaining schedule: @Atlanta, @Buffalo, Indy, Cinci, @Carolina

Coby Fleener – TE Colts-  He was borderline too good to be on the wire previous to last night’s performance.  A day later, he has a huge game and his competition, Dwayne Allen, is in a walking boot.  They will not rush Allen back into the lineup, there is no need to.  Last two games Fleener has seen 18 targets for 221 yards.  He is truly a talented Tight End.  I’m going to guess the next 2 weeks The Colts will rest Allen.  That means Fleener will be the only TE going up against Jacksonville, then Washington……………..yes please.   If you are right on the brink of making the playoffs, his performance the next two critical weeks could push you over the edge.  Pick him up, and start him over anybody not named, Gronk, Graham, or Thomas.  Remaining Schedule: Jax, Washington, @Cleveland, Houston, @ Dallas

Latavius Murray – RB Oakland – Murray only got 4 carries and 3 receptions yesterday.  But that netted him 43 yards on the ground and 13 yards through the air.  Nothing amazing, but productive for the amount of times given the chance.  Oakland stinks, real bad.  One thing has to be evident, Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones Drew are not the answer.  It’s time to let this kid show us what he can do.  There is no reason not to, he is the future, its week 12, it’s time.  His schedule ahead of him is brutal, but I think he is a must add in a keeper league, or if you are desperate for RB depth.  Remaining Schedule: KC, @St. Louis, San Fran, @KC, Buffalo

LAST MINUTE NFL NEWS

CLOWNEY PLAYING- Regardless, I don’t think I’m starting any Cleveland RB’s.  Could be West, Tate, or Crowell getting the touches, it’s not worth the headache.  Clowney coming back, only makes the situation worse.

A Foster OUT – I called it on Wednesday.  Hopefully you picked u ALF Blue.  Start him if you did, Cleveland stinks VS the run.  Good DraftKings and Fan Duel play too

Reggie Bush OUT – Pick up and start Theo Riddick in PPR formats only.  Also a good sneaky play on Draftkings

Marshawn Lynch Playing – Stay away from him on Draftkings / Fan Duel

CJ Anderson to start – I’m actually shying away from him this week.  I think St Louis Run D is getting better each week, it wouldn’t surprise me if Anderson has a dud this week.

As a good GPP play in Draftkings and Fan Duel, I may start RG3 Vs Tampa Bay.  He is extremely inexpensive, and he COULD put up numbers far above his price tag.  Link him with Garcon OR Desean Jackson.  TB D is so bad against opposing QB’s and WR.  Its not a sure thing, but if it works, you can afford a Gronk, Jordy Nelson, or Forte in your lineup.  Go for it.

WEEK 11 Draftkings / Fan Duel Top Plays

QB

Aaron Rodgers- DK - $9,400  Fan - $10,100    Rodgers takes on Philly at home.  Philly gives up 250 yards per game, 19 passing td’s this season, and 11 plays of 40 or more yards.  Rodgers is unstoppable at home.  He is expensive, but I believe will be the top scoring QB this weekend.  Demon Projection:  410 yards, 5 TD’s (2 to Jordy)

Matt Stafford – DK- $7,400  Fan - $8.600  Stafford faces The Cardinals in Arizona.  Megatron is back, Golden Tate is very solid, and Detroit’s backfield is a mess.  On top of that, The Cardnial’s have only given up 5 rushing TD’s all season, their passing Defense is one of the worst in the NFL averaging 275 yards a game.  Demon projection: 435 Yards, 3 Tds

Matt Ryan – DK -$6.400 – Fan -$7,700  Matt Ryan has really underperformed this year.  I think its time for a bounce back game.  Carolina was shredded last week by Mark Sanchez.  If Sanchez can do it, Ryan HAS to be able to.  Carolina has given up 19 passing TD’s this year, tied for 3rd worst in the NFL.  At such an incredibly low price tag, he can outperform Qb’s this week that are $2000 + higher.  Demon Projection: 380 yards 3 Td’s

RB

Matt Forte – DK - $10,100 Fan - $9.300 – If you are going to pony up for an RB, Forte is the choice.  They play Minnesota this week.  Forte faced The Vikings twice this year, and racked up over 300 yards and had 14 receptions.  I like him more in Draftkings format because of the full point for PPR.  Demon Projection: 18 carries for 110 yards 1 TD, 5 receptions for 54 and 1 TD

Jeremy Hill – DK -$4,500 – Fan -$6,500   Two weeks ago Jeremy Hill was a god.  One crappy game later, his price plummeted to $4,500/ $6,500.  Hill faces The Saints in New Orleans.  The Saints do OK holding opposing running backs to yardage, but have given up 10 rushing td’s.  I don’t think he will have another performance like the one against The Jaguars, but his price is too low to pass up.  Demon Projection: 20 Carries for 92 yards and 1 TD, 3 Receptions for 21 yards

Jonathon Stewart – DK $3,400 – Fan -$5,100  Stewart faces a HORENDOUS Falcons D that gives up 124 yards per game, and 13 TD’s this season.  Cam Newton is banged up, I think The Panthers are going to stuff the ball down Atlanta’s throat this week.   Deangelo Williams will still 8-10 carries, but Stewart will get the bulk and more production.  He is also the goal line option over Williams.  He might be the best value of the week.  If you are trying to fit Rodgers/ Forte/ or any other big money guy this weekend, you need to put Stewart in to offset your budget.  Demon Projection: 15 carries for 80 yards and a TD, 4 receptions for 42 yards and a TD

WR

Jordy Nelson – DK - $7,700 – Fan $8,900 -   SEE AARON RODGERS The number 1 option at WR this week, but worth the price.  Demon Projection: 11 Receptions, 198 yards, 2 TDs

Brandin Cooks – DK - $5,800 – Fan - $6,800  I said it last week, and I’m going to say it again, Cooks is a machine at home.  I don’t know why his splits are so drastic, and I don’t really care.  He did it AGAIN last week at home, he plays The Bengals at home this week.  If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.  Demon projection: 9 receptions, 102 yards, 1 TD

Greg Jennings – DK -$5,000 – Fan - $5,800   If you have watched an NFL football the past month, one thing is evident: CHICAGO’S PASS D, IS EMBARASSING.  The Pats destroyed them, and Green Bay made them look like a High School squad in one half of football.  Someone on this Vikings offense is going to have a HUGE game, and I think its Jennings.  Patterson has looked awful, and Jennings is the only other real threat.  Jennings might be the best WR value this week.  Demon projection: 12 receptions, 188 yards, 2 Td’s

Fan Duel and Draft Kings Thursday Night Strategy

If you don’t want to wait until Sunday, you can get an early lineup in daily formats which start with the Thursday night game, and go all the way through Monday’s finale.  I like to stay away from these tournaments because true decisions shouldn’t be made until Sunday morning.  However, there are two situations in where I will throw a couple of lineups in the Thursday night tournaments.

  1.  If there is a certain player or player’s, that I think will be among the top scorers for the week I roll with them.  IF Demarco Murray is facing The Giants at home on Thursday night, I want him in my overall lineup.  If I think he will be the top scorer at that position, I will put just him in my lineups and fill the rest of the spots with Sunday/Monday players.  Remember, you can edit your lineup all the way until kickoff, so don’t put too much effort into the rest of your roster, because you will/ should change your mind before Sunday 1:00 O’clock.
  2. If I don’t like anybody AT ALL in a lineup, I will just play a defense for the Thursday Night games, and fill the roster with Sunday/ Monday players.  So many of the people in these Thursday tournaments find the NEED to play players going that night.  Let them make the mistakes.  If 75% of the field plays 3 or even 4 players, and they do nothing to very little, you have a 75% chance of beating these people.  You will be leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else because they used their money and roster spots on guys that didn’t produce.

Tonight is a defense night for me.  I don’t think anyone on The Bills or Dolphins will do anything special, I do however like both Defenses (Miami D more now that Fred Jackson is out).  If Miami D gets me 10 plus points, and it’s a 13-16 dud of a game, my percentage of finishing in the money skyrockets.  They might have 15-30 points, but I still have but I have 8 players till to go, they will have 5 or 6.  If my extra 2 to 3 players can net me over 30 points ( which they should), I’m way ahead of the pack
Pick up Alfred Blue NOW

Arian Foster said the "plan" is to play in Sunday's game against the Browns, but added that "we shall see."  I don't like it.  Something is up, if he was even PROBABLE in his mind, he would say hes going to be out there on Sunday.  If he doesn't suit, Alfred Blue become a really nice play.  They play Cleveland who stink against the run.  Just as a gamble, you should pick him up.  I'm giving Foster a 50/50 shot at playing this weekend.  With so many injuries and a big bye week, there is a huge shortage on RB's this week. Even If Foster plays, and re-tweaks his groin, they will sit him for a few weeks.  Drop the crap on your bench, and pick up Blue

TY HILTON – Hilton has been an absolute fantasy MONSTER this year.  937 yards, 3 TD, and with an astonishing 57 receptions has made him PPR gold.  What’s even more amazing, I think he will do even better than this with the final stretch of the season.  5 of his final 6 games are played in a dome, 4 of them are home.  The only outdoors game he has left on the season is at Cleveland, which doesn't scare me at all.  Remaining schedule: New England, Jax, Washington, @Cleveland, Houston, @ Dallas.  You almost can’t hand select a better schedule! Andrew Luck gets better every game, and so does the relationship on the field with Hilton.  This may be ballsy, but it is possible, that he outperforms Dez, Antonio Brown, Demarius Thomas, and Nelson going forward.  Megatron is the only player I am ranking ahead of him going forward.  Find out who owns him in your league, and get him.

SELL

Jeremy Maclin – Maclin has been an amazing this year as well.  828 yards and 8 TDs far exceds his average draft position.  The problem in my eyes is that ALL of this production came with Nick Foles.  Foles was good at the long bomb, going to Maclin, for TD’s of 30 yards and more.  Sanchez isn’t that “Type” of QB.  The game plan going forward will be shorter passes to possession type receivers, also known as Jordan Mathews.  Mathews was his guy last week, and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.  Maclin is going to be a good receiver going forward, but I think those big plays are going to dwindle, and some of his looks are going to go to Mathews.  At the end of the year, Maclin will be a top 10 receiver, but I think the bulk of his production has already been produced.  Find someone who is high on Maclin, and trade him while his value is still sky high.

HOLD

Desean Jackson -  Jackson’s production has sporadic this season.  He has 5 games of 100 or more receiving yards, and 4 games of 60 yards or less.  He is a big play player and has elite talent.  I actually have faith in RG3, and I think Desean’s numbers will increase from here on.  He may have the occasional dud in there when their offense isn’t clicking, but hes going to have some big games in there as well.  His name recognition currently wont fetch you a top 5 player at any position, but that’s ok.  Ride it out with him, he’s doing fine, and wont disappoint.  He has a nice remaining schedule as well: Tampa Bay, @49ers, @Indy, St Louis, @Giants, Philly

Week 11 Add Drops

Jordan Mathews-   WR Eagles

Mathews had a MONSTER game last night.  If that was any indication of the rest of the season, I would take him of Maclin.  Even before the QB change, Mathews was on a great pace, and has been fairly consistent all season long.  IF you offered me a trade where you give up Mathews, and I give up Maclin, Im not taking it, but it wouldn’t SHOCK me if Mathews out-produced Maclin going forward.  This season Mathews has 39 receptions , on 61 targets, 454 yards, and 5 TD’s.  he has been targeted 24 times in the past 3 games.  His remaining schedule ain’t half bad either:  @GB, Titans, @Dallas, Seattle, Dallas, Washington

CJ Anderson-  RB Denver

Anderson went nuts on Sunday, 13 carries for 90 yards PLUS 7 receptions for 73 yards and a TD.  He was given a chance because Hillman banged up his ankle.  Hillman is out for the next 2 weeks, making Anderson a must add.  Ball is also due back this week, he hasn’t played in weeks due to a nagging groin injury.  Ball will not come back and carry the ball 15 times, especially if Anderson is running the ball effectively, I think he will.  The few times he has been given the chances to carry the ball, he has done well, his yards per carry this season is over 6.0, that’s impressive.  Montee Ball’s yards per carry is 3.0, that is unimpressive, he has actually been terrible even with healthy this season.  If Anderson has solid production for the next 2 or 3 weeks, he will become the lead back, The Broncos wont mess with whatever is working.  He is a must add because of the outstanding offense he plays on.  Remaining schedule:  @St. Louis, Miami, KC, Buffalo, @ SD, @ Cinci

John Brown – WR Arizona

John Brown > Michael Floyd.  Michael Floyd is fantasy dead to me.  He has disappeared, and his leash is now vanished.  John Brown is clearly the #2 option opposite of Larry Fitzgerald.  Brown has quietly had a good year.  Last 3 games : 24 targets, 200 plus yards, 2 Td’s.  Drew Stanton will be  the QB for the remainder of the season, which is not an upgrade from Palmer.  I don’t think Brown is going to break any records this season, but if you are weak at WR, or need a flex option if the matchup is decent, you could do worse than John Brown.  Remaining schedule:  Detroit, @Seattle, @Atlanta, KC, @St Louis, Seattle

Matt Asiata – RB Vikings

Asiata is the TD vulcher of 2014.  He is the goal line guy, and McKinnon is not.  He had 3 TDs, on 10 carries for 26 yards last game against Washington.  Maybe this will be the strategy going forward, small plays all the way into the opponents 5 yard line, then let Asiata ram it in.  He is going to have games where he will get you close to 0 points, and he will have games will he may get you 20 points.  I would roll with him if I am weak at flex for a couple of weeks and see what happens.  Regardless, a guy who has 3 td’s TWICE this season, does not belong on the waiver wire.  Remaining Schedule: @Chi, GB, Carolina, Jets, @Detroit, @Miami

Last Minute DraftKings Plays

Jimmy Graham $6,300

Patrick Willis is OUT today.  He was scheduled to cover Jimmy Graham in New Orleans today.  I think this leaves the door wide open for Jimmy Graham today.  If you have the extra salary, Jimmy Graham is now a much better play than he was last night.

 Lions D - $2,900
I said it earlier in the week, Tannehill is in for a big let down of a game.  Lamar Miller is on a snap count, Miami doesn't play well on turf.  I think The Lions are the best play this week at DST.  Some sacks, Some Int's, and a special Teama TD.

WEEK 10 TOP DRAFTKINGS FOOTBAL PLAYS

QB

Aaron Rodgers- $9,400

Week 4 at Chicago Rodgers threw for 300 yards and 4 TDs.  Now, The Packers take on the Bears at Green Bay, and Chicago’s Defense is even worse.  I’m confident that he will be the biggest producing QB this week.  The $1,000, 000 lineup will find a way to get Rodgers in there.  If you’re going to pay up, he is the guy.  Pair him with Cobb, Nelson or both if you can figure out a way.  Demon Projection:  375 yards, 4 TDs

Ben Roethlisberger - $7,500

He is going to be owned in 40 % of the lineups this weekend.  The past 2 games hes thrown 12 TDs and 850 yards.  He faces the Jets this weekend who have given up 24 Passing TD’s this year.  By far, worst in the NFL.  Hes just too cheap at $7500 not to play him.  The TDs will be there, the 500 yards will not.  Demon Projection: 285 yards, 3 Tds.

RB

Steven Jackson - $4,300

Value play, he is still the main back in Atlanta.  Tampa Bay is a MESS, and their Defense is going to be on its heels all day.  Jackson won’t break records Sunday, but he will make his $4300 price tag a value.  These are the kind of players to plug in so you can aford, Forte and Rodgers.  Demon Projection: 13 Carries, 70 yards, 1 TD

Marshawn Lynch - $6,700

The price on Lynch has dropped due to his lack of huge production this year.  Lynch had 2 TD’s and 150 total yards last week.  It looks like he at Pete Carroll have made up.  He goes against a Giants defense that has allowed 166 total yards per game and seven touchdowns to running backs across eight contests this season.  Demon Projection: 18 Carries for 105 and 1 TD, 3 receptions for 22 yards and 1 TD

WR

Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson - $7,400 / $7,600

Play one or both, they both had big games last time against Chicago, one of these guys is going to go off.  It’s really a coin flip, but gun to my head, I’m taking Cobb for the $200 discount.  The Bears really are terrible against WR’s.  Demon projection: 300 total yards, 3 Td’s how it gets divided, is a total guess

Brandin Cooks - $4,300

Cooks is a turf guy.  OR Brees likes to throw to Cooks on turf, or whatever it is, Cooks production is vastly better inside.  He’s cheap, and I think he’s going to produce.  Ride the trend, and trust it, too much value at $4300.  Demon Projection: 7 receptions, 88 yards, 1 TD

Start em, Sit em Week 10

Start

Cam Newton

Newton is at Philly this week VS a terrible Philly Defense.  The Eagles have given up 250 yards per game, 17 Passing TDs, and 10 plays of 40 or more through the air.  This is going to be Cam's breakout game of 2014.  I have a feeling Philly D will be on the field quite a bit because of Mark Sanchez's inability to be an affective NFL quarterback.  I expect a lot of Newton to Benjamin, and Olsen, with some scrambling for 75 yards or more on the ground.  START HIM

Darren Sproles

If you are on the fence about a flex spot this weekend, I think Darren Sproles will have a solid game in PPR formats.  Sanchez is going to be a deer in the headlights, and McCoy can only do so much.  I can see Sproles running the ball 7 times and catching 5-7 passes out of the backfield.  He could net you 75 Plus yards and a TD.  START HIM IN PPR at FLEX

Kelvin Benjamin

SEE CAM NEWTON.  I see a 2 TD performance from the talented rookie.

Owen Daniels

Owen Daniels appears to be healthy.  They face The Titans at home this weekend.  All of Owen Daniels touchdowns this season have come at home.  The Titans don't cover TE's very well, and this game could be a clock management game if Baltimore jumps out big and early.  Look for short completions to Daniels to kill some clock.  7 for 80 and a TD looks about right.  START HIM

SIT

Ryan Tannehill

Tanehill faces a well rested Detroit Lions Defense in Detroit this weekend.  Detroits Pass D is #1 in the NFL.  Ryan is coming off a big game, but I don't like this one.  Tannehill is also one of those QBs that doesn't not play well on turf.  If you're expecting a repeat performance of last week, you are in for a huge let down.  SIT HIM

Fred Jackson

They list him as Questionable, but I don't think he will go this weekend.  Even if he does, I think KC Defense is currently underrated, and a tough matchup for Jacksson.  Look elsewhere, even if he goes, he wont see more than 10 touches

Ruben Randle/ Odell Beckham JR.

Seattle has something to prove, and the only think that Eli Manning has proved this year is that he truly sucks.  I can honestly see Seattle holding NY to 3 or 6 points in this game.  They wont allow for garbage time production to prove a point.  Avoid NY Offense this weekend like cancer.

Vern Davis

Vern, what happened, big guy?  You have completely fallen off the map of fantasy relevance.  He isn't even targeted much any more.  New Orleans does not have a great Defense, but they do hold opposing TE's to very little production.  SIT HIM.........................maybe drop him :(

Tonight's DraftKings Basketball Value Picks

Elfrid Payton - $4,000 - 8.0%

Last 2 games Payton racked up 9 Rebounds, 16 Assists, 1 Block, 3 Steals, and 25 Points.  He faces Philly tonight.  With Oladipo still out, Payton should see about 30 minutes against a terrible Defense.  $4,000 is too cheap to pass this up

Shawne Williams - $3,000 - 6.0%

Over the past 3 games Williams has averaged 26 Fantasy points.  I cant quite figure out why he is only $3,000.  Josh McRoberts is only seeing 10 minutes a game, and with Williams producing, I don't think the Heat will rush him back.  He faces Charlotte tonight which has been decent against shutting down the PF position, but at the minimum $3,000, he can easily earn his value.

Iman Shumpert - $4,000 - 8.0%

JR Smith is suspended for tonight s game for a ball whack he gave Glen Rice last night.  Shumperts minutes will increase, and should be on the floor 30 plus minutes.  He has averaged 23 fantsy points the past 3 games.  They face Detroit tonight who have been below average at defending the SG.  $4,000 is cheap.

Save money on these guys and pay for a couple John Walls, Kevin Loves, and Vucevic's tonight.

Ryan Fitzpatrick OUT, Ryan Mallet in

Ryan Fitzpatrick has lost his starting QB gig with The Texans.  Its time to see what the former Patriots Draft Pick can do.  Houston is on a bye, but if you are in a 2 QB league, and you have Fitz, you have to jump on Mallet.  Mallet has some weapons, but has almost ZERO NFL experience.  Gun to my head, I'm taking Mallet over Mark Sanchez, but it looks like my opinion is not shared by many others.  Apparently, Mallet and Andre Johnson are buddies, maybe it will increase his targets.

Week 10 ADDs

Mike Evans WR Tampa Bay

Evans is coming off a huge game VS Cleveland.  He went 7 receptions, for 142 yards, and 2 TDs.  He actually has been really solid all season long, He has been targeted 53 times this year in 7 games, that's big.  It seems like Vincent Jackson and Evans are both equal in the QB and coaches minds.  There is no way this guy should be on the wire, make room for him, he is a true talent.  Remaining schedule:  Atlanta, @Washinton, @Chicago, Cinci, @Detroit, @Carolina, Green Bay.  Not too shabby.

Mychal Rivera TE Oakland Raiders

8 Receptions, for 38 yards, and 2 TDS vs Seattle last week.  In a year where TE's are SO hard to find(Especially with any predictable production), Rivera is 100% worth adding.  Last 2 games he has been targeted 20 times!  When a rookie a QB finds something that works, they usually stick to it as a safety blanket.  Rivera is Carr's Woobie.  They have good chemistry, and Rivera has looked good.  If you don't have Graham, Gronk, or Julius Thomas, its kind of a crap shoot anyway.  Go for the guy that's going to get the looks.  Remaining Schedule:  Denver, @San Diego, KC, @St Louis, San Fran, @ KC, Buffalo.  Not Ideal, but not brutal either

Bobby Rainey RB Tampa Bay

Rainey netted 87 rushing yards, and 34 receiving yards last week VS Cleveland.  He can go off, or can bet terrible.  Still, its hard to find production like that on the wire.  I like his matchup this week home against The Falcons.  He could have a big game.  Last year, at home VS Atlanta, he ran the ball 30 times for 160 and 2 TDS.  Charles Simms will steal SOME of the carries from Rainey this Sunday, but my guess would be 7-10, While Rainey still gets 15 Plus.  If you need him for 1 week, this is the week I think.  Remaining schedule :   Atlanta, @Washinton, @Chicago, Cinci, @Detroit, @Carolina, Green Bay.  Not too shabby.

Alf Blue RB Houston Texans

Speculative add.  Houston is on a bye this week.  Arian Foster has a groin issue.  It appears he will be ok, and it LOOKS like he will play week 11.  That being said, you never know with Foster, his lower half injuries have hampered his career many times so far.  If you own Foster, you 100% need Blue as a handcuff.  If you don't have Foster, and Blue is on the wire, and you have an empty or useless player, add Blue.  If Foster is out, or injures himself worse, he becomes an instant MUST OWN.  Remaining Schedule:  BYE, @Cleveland, Cinci, Titans,  @Jax, @Indy, Baltimore

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Should you pick up Mark Sanchez?

No.  Here is a list of other Mark's I would rather start over Sanchez:  Mark Hamill, Mark Harmon, Mark David Chapman, Mark Paul- Gosselar, Mark Twain, and Shania Twain.  All of these mentioned would be better NFL quarterbacks than Mark Sanchez.  If you lost Foles this weekend, Sanchez is still not worth picking up, take ANY OTHER QB ON THE WIRE.  Carr, Boyles, Fitzpatrick, Vick, all better than Sanchez.  There is one Brightside to this:  STREAM EVERY DEFENSE YOU CAN EACH WEEK AGAINST PHILLY.  He will throw at least 3 picks every game, and probably throw in a couple of fumbles as well.  If you need him on your team, you have failed, and need retrace your steps, so that next year, you can be less dumb.

Romo out, AJ Green in

Tony Romo will not play today.  That being said, I would still roll with Dez Bryant if you have him.  I also like Brandon Weeden in daily formats to put up decent numbers against a bad Arizona D.  I would not start Weeden in a season long unless you are desperate.  AJ Green will play against Jax today.  Put him in your season long and daily lineups.  If you had Sanu in your flex, I might consider trading him out for a better option.
